Wetcomb HDPE Features
HDPE plastic has several properties that make it ideal for Tanks and ponds. It’s stronger than standard polyethylene, acts as an effective barrier against moisture and remains solid at room temperature. It resists insects, rot and other chemicals. It is easily recyclable and can be used again and again. Recycled HDPE creates no harmful emissions during its production or during its use by the consumer. Also, HDPE leaks no toxic chemicals into the soil or water.
- Contains no hazardous chemicals that can contaminate soil or water
- Easily recyclable
- Chemical Resistance
- Non-toxic
- Low Permeability
- Diverts plastic waste from landfills
- Contains no PVCs, which have the potential to emit harmful chemicals into the air and water
- Ultraviolet Resistance

Wetcomb’s LLDPE Smooth Geomembrane
Wetcomb LLDPE liners are the ideal choice for applications which require significant material flexibility, in addition to strength and durability. Our LLDPE liners have the ability to elongate under stress, allowing them to maintain their integrity under localized differential settlement conditions without puncturing, tearing, or cracking. Combined with outstanding resistance to low temperatures and ultraviolet exposure, these liners are ideal for many applications. Our Manufacturing Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program ensures that only the highest quality products represent the Wetcomb name.

Features:
Flexibility – In addition to UV and chemical resistance, LLDPE
geomembranes exhibit a high degree of flexibility. Greater flexibility provides increased conformance to subsidence and differential settlement
Puncture Resistance – High puncture elongation properties make LLDPE liners ideal in applications where conformances to subgrade irregularities increase the possibility of puncture.
Reflective Factor – Wetcomb LLDPE geomembranes come in white as well as black. A white surface helps mitigate liner temperature extremes and aids visual inspection.
Applications:
- Landfill caps / closures
- Lagoon Liners
- Canal linings
- Pond Liners
- Agriculture Pond Liners
- Mining Heap Leach Pads
- Raw water treatment reservoirs
- Potable water reservoirs
- Retention ponds
- Floating Covers
- Secondary containment for above ground
storage tanks
- Solutions ponds for mining applications
- Tank linings
- Waste water treatment lagoon
